Waterline: Weaving a River

From the moment I heard about the Waterline project with Nearly Wild Weaving and Joan Baxter I knew I wanted in. It was a juried process and while I had high hopes, I was also realistic. I knew my style had to mesh with 14 other participants to even be considered.

Fast forward several months… I did get in and we have begun.

First step for me? Go visit my river!

I’m sharing some images from my first visit to the river. This was in late August of this year and the cooler days had not yet arrived. I’ve made several more trips since then, but these were my first impressions.

Ripples, reflections, and water bugs…

I’ll be posting my process here on my website… stay tuned!
